PLH was born in 2005 from a challenge: that of Enrico Corelli, owner of Epic, a leading company in the plant engineering sector, to give a “luxurious”, identifying and customizable aesthetic look to the electric control plate, until then ignored by design because it was considered a secondary factor in the décor and interior design.
The process of giving beauty, as well as technological functionality, to the electric plate was a long one, supported by curious, passionate, ongoing research that involved many design and production aspects: from in-depth experiments on materials and their behavior to a meticulous selection of suppliers willing and able to adopt the company’s principles; from the creation of the first prototypes to their engineering and production with CNC machines.

As Corelli explains, “the PLH® plate is not hidden, it wants to be seen, perceived as an added value of interior design, a quality that makes it unique”.
All interpreted in the spirit of the founding values ​​of the brand such as qualitative excellence, formal beauty, durability and reliability, attention to detail, sustainability of the life cycle of the products. A series of challenges within the challenge that have led PLH® to work with talented young Italian professionals who have made their specific know-how available, and to count on the genius and experience of its founder.

Trained as an industrial expert and a great lover of art and decorative and applied art, Corelli continues to carry out that activity of electrical design in general and building automation in particular thanks to which he has had the opportunity to come into contact with internationally renowned archistars, which helped to broaden and deepen his design vision and instilled in him the desire to try his hand at product design, first tackling the theme of lighting fixtures and then, precisely, electrical control plates.
